Heizka Rack Systems

Heizka racks are engineered with premium steel construction, precision finishing, and modular layouts to support copper, fiber, and power distribution systems. Frames are built from SPCC quality cold rolled steel, with a 2.0 mm mounting profile and 1.0–1.2 mm remaining panels on the floor-standing range. The S-shaped mounting profile is free to move forward and back, so the same cabinet accepts deep servers or shallow switches without re-drilling. Static loading is rated 800 kg to 1000 kg on the standard range, and up to 1800 kg static on the heavy-duty D Series. Cabinets ship flat-packed to cut freight volume and handling damage, and are supplied with adjustable feet and castors together. Finishes are available in RAL9004, RAL9005, and RAL7035.

Frame Sizes and Model Codes

The floor-standing server rack cabinet range covers five frame heights and three depth options. Depth matters as much as U height: a 600 mm deep frame suits patching and switching, while 800–1000 mm depths leave room behind the equipment for cable managers, PDUs, and unobstructed exhaust airflow.

Front doors are specified as perforated steel or tempered glass, with a steel rear door; both carry an advanced spring lock. Side panels are removable with latches and can be ordered lockable. Cable entry is provided at both top and bottom. The range is built to ANSI/EIA RS-310-D, IEC 297-2, DIN 41491 Part 1, DIN 41491 Part 7, and ETSI.

What does the XY in a model code such as HER4268XY mean?
The trailing characters are configuration placeholders for door type and color. Confirm the exact door and RAL finish you require when ordering, and Heizka will supply the full part number on the quotation.

Which depth should I choose for servers?
Rack-mount servers usually need 800 mm or more so that rails, power cords, and cable managers do not block exhaust airflow. A 600 mm depth is generally reserved for patching and switching. Because the S-shaped profile slides forward and back, depth is the dimension you cannot change later.

What is the difference between the standard range and the D Series?
The D Series is the heavy-duty option: up to 1800 kg static load, 2.5 mm base, 1.2 mm panels, IP20, a dedicated frame grounding point, and a fixed wheel-free base, with 1U–45U engraved and painted on all four rail bars.
