The Heizka CAT6A Patch Cord is the 10 Gigabit workhorse of the Heizka copper patch cord range — a factory-terminated RJ45 to RJ45 cord that carries 10G Base-T over the full 100 m channel. Each CAT6A patch cord is built with stranded 7*0.16 mm conductors, so it stays flexible in a dense patch field while keeping the electrical headroom a 10G link needs.
The cord is snagless: a moulded strain-relief boot shields the RJ45 lock tab so it cannot be snapped off when the cord is pulled from a bundle. Gold-plated, staggered contact pins reduce NEXT, and the range covers U/UTP, F/UTP and S/FTP constructions in six colours and four jacket ratings, with full IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt PoE support.
Features
- ✓10 Gigabit, 10G Base-T Ethernet applications

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, if the channel has to carry 10G Base-T over the full 100 m. CAT6 only reaches 10G over short distances, whereas a CAT6A patch cord is specified for 10 Gigabit across the standard channel length.
U/UTP is unshielded and easiest to route in a dense patch field. F/UTP adds an overall foil screen and S/FTP adds a foil screen per pair plus an overall braid.
Choose a shielded CAT6A patch cord where cabling runs near motors, lifts, VFDs or heavy power feeds, and pair it with a shielded outlet and an earthed patch panel so the screen is bonded end to end.
Yes. It supports IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3bt, so the same cord powers wireless access points, PTZ cameras, IP phones and PoE lighting alongside the 10G data link.
A moulded boot covers the RJ45 latch so that when the cord is pulled from a bundle the boot deflects other cables away from the lock tab. A broken latch is the usual reason a patch cord is retired, so the boot extends service life.
Standard lengths are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 metres, with custom lengths through the X code. Six colours are offered — blue, gray, black, orange, purple and white — across CRM, CM, LSZH and PVC jacket ratings.
The patch cord uses stranded conductors and factory-fitted RJ45 plugs so it flexes through repeated patching. The fixed horizontal link should use solid-conductor Heizka CAT6A installation cable punched onto a patch panel; for Gigabit-only areas compare it with the CAT6 Patch Cord.
Packaging & Delivery
Every CAT6A Patch Cord is individually bagged with the length and part number on the label, then packed in cartons sorted by length and colour so site stock stays easy to control.
Cords ship factory-terminated and 100% tested, so no field termination or certification of the cord itself is required. Custom lengths and mixed colour packs are built to order using the X length code.
