      The Heizka optical fiber adaptor is the precision coupling sleeve that joins two fiber connectors of the same type end-to-end, keeping the fiber cores aligned so light passes through the mated pair with minimal loss. Every optical fiber adaptor in this range uses a ceramic split sleeve to hold the ferrules on-axis, so patch panels, splice trays and rack-mount enclosures can be built up from a common, interchangeable coupling part.

      The line covers both simplex adaptors, built around the SC connector footprint, and duplex adaptors, built around the LC connector footprint, each available in PC, UPC and APC polish to match the connector polish already terminated on the fiber, and in single-mode or multi-mode fiber versions. A zinc-alloy body is used for metal-flange variants while a PC plastic housing is used for the SC/LC plastic-flange variants, so the same optical fiber adaptor family can be specified across fiber patch panels, wall boxes and distribution frames without mixing incompatible parts.
