The Heizka high-density optical fiber patch panel HEAOU2884 is the largest fiber termination point in the Heizka rack cabinet range, holding up to 144 SC ports or 288 duplex LC ports in a single 4U, 19-inch enclosure. A built-in splice tray means fusion splices for every one of those ports are protected and stored inside the same frame, so a data-centre row or CATV head-end can terminate an entire fiber trunk without a separate splice cabinet.
Like the rest of the Heizka fiber patch panel family, the HEAOU2884 is universal and ships adaptor-unloaded, so SC, LC or a mixed connector layout can be fitted to match the pigtails and patch cords already standardised on site. It is built for both ribbon and single fiber and racks directly alongside Heizka server rack cabinets and copper patch panels.
