The Heizka CAT5E Patch Cord is the cost-effective RJ45 to RJ45 cord for 1000 Base-T Gigabit links — ideal for desk drops, IP phones, printers, CCTV and any refresh where a full CAT6 upgrade is not justified. Stranded 7*0.16 mm conductors keep every CAT5E patch cord flexible enough to route neatly through a cable manager and survive repeated re-patching.
Gold-plated, staggered contact pins reduce NEXT and a plug insertion life of at least 1000 cycles means the cord holds up in a busy patch field. Strain relief protection boots on both ends shield the RJ45 latch, and the range is offered in U/UTP, F/UTP and S/FTP constructions across six colours and four jacket ratings.

Step up to CAT6 or CAT6A only when you need 10 Gigabit headroom or are certifying a new installation to a higher class.
The moulded boot wraps the point where the cable enters the RJ45 plug. It stops the conductors flexing sharply at the termination and shields the latch, which is the part that usually breaks first in a busy patch field.
U/UTP is unshielded and the simplest to route. F/UTP adds an overall foil screen, and S/FTP adds a foil screen per pair plus an overall braid.
Choose a shielded CAT5E patch cord where cabling passes close to motors, lifts or heavy power runs, and pair it with a shielded outlet and an earthed patch panel.
Standard lengths are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 metres, with custom lengths through the X code. Six colours are available — blue, gray, black, orange, purple and white — across CRM, CM, LSZH and PVC jacket ratings.
