The Heizka CAT7A Patch Cord is the top of the Heizka copper patch cord range, built for 10 Gigabit and 10G Base-T Ethernet links in data centres, server rooms and high-density work areas. Every CAT7A patch cord uses stranded 7*0.16 mm conductors, so the cable stays flexible through tight bends behind a rack without stressing the terminations.
The cord is snagless: a moulded strain-relief boot shields the RJ45 lock tab so it cannot be snapped off when the cord is pulled through a bundle of cables. Gold-plated, staggered contact pins reduce NEXT, and the range is available in U/UTP, F/UTP and S/FTP constructions, six jacket colours and lengths from 1 m to custom.

Frequently Asked Questions
Snagless means a moulded boot covers the RJ45 latch. When you pull the cord out of a dense bundle the boot deflects cables away from the lock tab so it cannot catch and snap off.
A broken latch is the most common reason a patch cord fails, so the boot directly extends service life.
U/UTP is the unshielded option and is the lightest and easiest to route. F/UTP adds an overall foil screen and S/FTP adds both a foil screen per pair and an overall braid.
Choose a shielded CAT7A Patch Cord where the cabling runs close to motors, lifts, VFDs or dense power cabling; specify a shielded outlet and earthed patch panel to match.
Yes. The CAT7A Patch Cord supports IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3bt, so it will carry standard PoE, PoE+ and higher-power PoE loads to access points, cameras and IP phones.
Standard lengths are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 metres, plus custom lengths via the X code. Six jacket colours are available — blue, gray, black, orange, purple and white — along with CRM, CM, LSZH and PVC jacket ratings.
Read it in seven fields: HEA brand, C for copper, 7A for Cat7A, the screening structure, the colour digit, the jacket code and the length. HEAC7AS1CM2 is therefore a CAT7A S/FTP shielded patch cord in blue with a CM jacket, 2 m long.
The patch cord uses stranded conductors for flexibility and is terminated with RJ45 plugs, so it belongs in the patching field. For the fixed horizontal run between the patch panel and the outlet use solid-conductor Heizka CAT7A installation cable, and terminate it onto a structured cabling patch panel.
Packaging & Delivery
Each CAT7A Patch Cord is individually bagged with the length and part number printed on the label, then packed in cartons by length and colour for easy stock control.
Cords are supplied factory-terminated and 100% tested, so no field termination or certification of the cord itself is required. Custom lengths and colour mixes can be built to order using the X length code.
