Heizka’s Copper Cabling System CAT6A is an unshielded twisted-pair (U/UTP) cable engineered to deliver sustained 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) performance over the full 100-meter channel. Built with 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors and an internal cross-filler, it is designed for structured cabling systems that need to support Class EA applications up to 500MHz, well beyond standard Gigabit CAT6.
This makes it the right choice for data centers, high-density server rooms, and enterprise backbones where bandwidth headroom and PoE/PoE+ powering matter. It is available with PE, CM, PVC, or LSZH jackets to match indoor, riser, or fire-safety requirements. Every reel is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801, ANSI/TIA/EIA-568.2-D, and IEC 61156-5 standards, and backed by Heizka’s multi-year warranty for long-term field performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The 23 AWG conductors and 1–500MHz bandwidth allow it to deliver stable 10GBASE-T performance over the full 100m permanent link, meeting Class EA requirements.
CAT6A supports up to 500MHz bandwidth and sustains 10 Gigabit Ethernet over 100m, while the CAT6 61 Series is optimized for standard Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) at 250–350MHz. Choose CAT6A for data centers, server rooms, or backbones that need guaranteed 10G; choose CAT6 61 Series for standard office LANs where Gigabit is sufficient and cost efficiency matters.
This U/UTP version is unshielded, using an internal cross-filler and discontinuous foil technology to control crosstalk. For environments with heavy electromagnetic interference, Heizka also offers shielded CAT6A constructions — contact our team for the F/UTP or S/FTP variant.
LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacketing limits flame spread and emits minimal toxic smoke and no halogen gases when burned. It’s typically required in high-occupancy buildings such as hospitals, shopping malls, and transit stations, per IEC 60332-1-2 / 60332-3.
At least 10 times the cable’s jacket diameter, to avoid degrading transmission performance and shortening cable life.
Standard packaging is 305m per pull-box, with PE, CM, PVC, and LSZH jacket options available to match indoor, riser, or plenum installation requirements.
